Ellen Goodwin, my podcast partner came up with an episode idea around the concept of making things easier for our future self—and we ran with the idea. I’d like to explore it more. 1. If we end our day (or night) and leave our workspace ready to go for the next day we have saved our future self a step to get going from the get go. 2. If we stop at an easy place to start it means we’re up and running with less stress and fear. 3. If we are running low on something and it takes a minute to order a new one or refill something we should just do it. Our future self will thank us.
Other things our future self appreciates is getting gas before we’re running on fumes, making the bed in the morning, and not doing that last shot (or two) at the end of the night . . .
